Glampyre Rocks

Here's pic of Glaympyre's One Skein Wonder which actually took three skeins of Dive Fiamma an Italian wool that is varigated and beautiful. I picked this up out of the yarn orphange at Wonderful Things while on a S.E.X (stash enhancement expedition) with my friend Jess so it cost only as much as one skein. I can't say enough about Glampyre's designs! This took hours to work up and was so much fun to make. It was the first time I picked up stitches too so I have jumped another knitting hurdle. I wouldn't even be on the track though without Jess, she is surely a knitting goddess and has encouraged me to be fearless in my knitting! Thanks Girl!

Here's a picture of the back.

Welcome to my World

I have finally decided that it was time to set aside some cyber space just for my knitting. So here it is and what better way to introduce myself than with the results from this cute little quiz I found on JessaLu Knits blog which is a strangely accurate description of my knitting personality.

If your curious about my knitting endeavours up to this point you can check out The Connors Clan which is our family blog that I had been using to post my Knit Pics. Like my yarn stash, my knitting entries were starting to take up too much space so here I am and I am happy to be here!

Here's to all the lovely knitting bloggers out there who make this community so great!

Knitting Guru
You appear to be a Knitting Guru. You love knitting
and do it all the time. While finishing a piece
is the plan, you still love the process, and
can't imagine a day going by without giving
some time to your yarn. Packing for vacation
involves leaving ample space for the stash and
supplies. It can be hard to tell where the yarn
ends and you begin.
